Curbing Vandalism & Theft in Area Parks

Instituted as a result of a single municipality approaching Winnebago CountyWide Crime Stoppers, this program has resulted in it being offered to all municipalities within Winnebago County to help curb incidents of vandalism and theft in area and county parks.

Special Park Watch signs were designed displaying the Winnebago CountyWide Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line information and placed in area parks. Citizens whose information results in an arrest are eligible for a cash reward.
